Carly Johansen was recognized by the Spanish faculty in the Iowa State University world languages and culture department as an outstanding graduating senior. An awards ceremony was held Sunday, April 10, at the Memorial Union on the ISU campus.
Johansen has majors in Spanish, linguistics and international studies and a minor in teaching English as a second language.
She is a 2012 graduate of Jefferson-Scranton high school.
